How to Create a Google Ads Account: A Simple Step-by-Step Guide
Google Adwords (Ads) is an application that helps businesses and individuals run effective advertising, making it easy to promote their products and services. To use Google Adwords, the first thing you need to do is create an account. So, how do you create a Google Adwords advertising account ? In this article, the7 will walk you through how to create a Google Adwords account, step by step.
What Is a Google Ads Account?
A Google Ads account is an account that lets users run paid advertising campaigns for their business and products on an online platform. Through effective bidding, your ads appear in search results, on relevant websites, or in relevant apps. Users can track performance through detailed statistical reports, which helps them optimize their advertising budget and improve ROI.

What Do You Need to Run Google Adwords Ads?
To run ads on the Google Adwords platform, you need to have the following ready:
- 1 Google Adwords advertising account
- 1 website (a landing page)
- A Visa card (for international payments)
Of the 3 requirements above, a Google advertising account is a must-have. Google Adwords lets users create an account and then use that account to run promotional campaigns for their business and products.

Types of Google Adwords Accounts Today
The Google Adwords platform currently lets users create 2 types of accounts: personal accounts and Google Adwords MCC accounts. Here is what you need to know about each:
Personal Account
This is the basic account type. It is easy to use and suits any individual. A personal account lets you manage your advertising campaigns with ease. However, its downside is that it still has many limitations and does not support as many features as a Google MCC account.
For that reason, a personal account suits small stores and businesses that do not need to run too many advertising campaigns.
Google Adwords MCC Account
The Google Adwords MCC account is intended for Google advertising partners. As a result, this account type also offers a fuller set of features. You get support for all advertising features and receive the latest improvements quickly. Businesses also get support with bidding when running campaigns.
In addition, with a Google Adwords MCC account, you can create and manage multiple advertising accounts. This allows users to run many advertising campaigns at the same time without difficulty.
So, if you can, you should still create a Google Adwords MCC account and run your ads on it to get the best possible support.
